Ashcroft Homes
The applicants for the Ashcroft Homes development on Merivale Road own land as part of the subdivision which is zoned to accept a grocery. All that is required is a site plan approval. They have asked me to meet with the community to discuss it and I have offered to arrange such a meeting once sufficient details of the proposal are available. There are rumours that this will be a "big box" in style, but the developer has shown willingness to be open and flexible as to design and layout.
If you would like input into the subdivision details, attend the CCA meetings where I regularly ask for input. When there are no meetings of the CCA or no issue of the Summit, it is difficult to communicate with a cross-section of residents.
