Former Ottawa West MPP Alex Cullen has taken on the top job at the Council on Aging. He decided to accept the executive director's position following his electoral defeat in June, during the Ontario election.
Cullen was first elected to Queen's Park in 1997, and prior to that position, he served on regional council, Ottawa city council and on the Ottawa Board of Education.
He is an economist by profession, and worked previously as a policy analyst for the Department of National Health & Welfare.
