Last month the Carlington Summit included an article about the Botanical Garden proposed for the Experimental Farm. The article was contributed by the Ottawa Botanical Garden Society, and was not thoroughly checked. It described the existing rose gardens as “a few rose bushes somewhere in the grass”, clearly an unfair description of the lovely gardens that have been so patiently nurtured by many dedicated volunteers. The Summit apologizes.
