The Carlington Summit

A one time resident has moved back to Carlington Community, after an absence of 3 years. Mike and Connie Hansen formerly of Crown Crescent moved to Kanata and decided it was not the right place for them. Mike and Connie have purchased the former Connelly home on Crown Crescent.

WELCOME BACK Mike and Connie.

When Connie and Mike originally sold their home on Crown Crescent it was purchased by Margie Berndt formerly of Buckingham. Margie said she looked at several homes in the area and said “Crown Crescent was her number one choice”.

WELCOME to Crown Crescent Margie.

Welcome is also extended to Rob Cass, Jennifer McDonald and baby Samantha formerly living on Preston Street. Rob & Jennifer have purchased the home of Ron and Pat Harris on Crown Crescent.

WELCOME to Crown Crescent Rob, Jennifer and baby Samantha.

Have you seen a lady walking a Sheltie dog recently in your neighbourhood? Raymonde Vachon of Crown Crescent has purchased a new walking partner. For 11 years she walked her dog Prince in and around the area often with a Frisbee in his mouth, well he took sick and had to be put in doggie heaven for his own sake. For a few months she walked the neighbour's dog Max, then he moved away. Well now, Raymonde has a new Sheltie and his name is Finnigan. You will often see Raymonde and Finnigan walking in the mornings and evenings along General Ave, Anna Ave, Admiral Ave and along Crerar Ave. Take care Raymonde and Finnigan.

Stanley and Mildred Campbell of Anna Ave made the 10 hour long bus trip to Plymouth Michigan for the 67's hockey team who took on the Michigan Whalers for 2 games. The first game was Saturday evening then they had an overnight stay in Windsor and a late game on Sunday then the long bus ride home. They arrived home in time to deliver there papers on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Campbell will be flying to Regina for the Memorial Cup week.

Long time residents of Crerar Ave. Allen and Elizabeth McDonnell renewed their wedding vows of 40 years at the Notre Dame Cathedral on Sussex Drive. Attending the special occasion were their daughter Heather, daughter in law Carmen McDonnell (Bruce), and grand-daughters Rebbeca and Mackenzie. Daughter Audrea Sharkey, husband Norm and daughter Jessica were unable to attend.
