An extra tomato plant on the balcony will be a certain way of having tomatoes EVEN if the open garden gets too much rain (like last year).
A patio tomato can be grown in a 20 litre pail. Make a few drain holes about the size of a pen in the bottom and then cover with gravel. Add a layer of used coffee grounds about five inches thick, and then fill with earth. Anyone with questions is welcome to call me at 798-9893.
