The Carlington Summit

Ashcroft Homes developer David Choo met with a group of local residents November 4 to discuss how the new Central Park subdivision should develop its park and recreational facilities.

It was the first meeting between Choo and a working group established in October by Ottawa councillor Karin Howard to promote community participation in the development.

Ashcroft plans to layout, grade and provide the major facilities for Central Park before turning the land over to the City of Ottawa. The Ashcroft plan calls for two winding pathways connecting the park to the National Capital Commission bike path to the north and another connecting to or near Merivale Road to the east.
