If you are between 7 and 13 years, put on your best Halloween costume and come to Alexander Community Centre on Saturday October 30th from 7-10 p.m. You might be awarded one of the many prizes to be given for scariest, funniest and best costume. There will be special dance prizes as well. Music will be supplied by a D.J. and decorations will include haunted houses, “smoke” and pumpkins. Did we mention the pumpkin competition? Bring down your best carved pumpkin and enter it in the Great Alexander Pumpkin Contest. Judges will be looking for originality and creativity in pumpkins and there will be different awards given in different age categories. Cost to get in the dance is $2.00 but bring extra money for refreshments from Tracey's Canteen.
Note to parents: Children will be required to sign in and will not be allowed to leave the dance early without their parent's permission.
Note: staff supervision is supplied but we welcome volunteers providing they are screened and registered a week prior to the dance. Hope to see everyone there!
