The Carlington Summit

Parent Volunteers held a beautiful and scrumptious potluck dinner for the families of St. Elizabeth School on Friday October 15, 1999. The party was held at the church hall thanks to Father Dan Dubroy.

The hall was beautifully decorated with leaves and streamers in fall colours, scarecrows and dried corn stalks. The children enjoyed crafts and games and volunteers painted their faces. It was a great opportunity for families and teachers to meet and celebrate the holiday together.

Along with the wonderful dinners and desserts provided by parents and school staff members, there were also donations provided by: Loblaws at Merivale and Baseline, Food Basics on Kirkwood, McDaniel's Independent at Westgate and Bunsmaster on Carling Avenue. There was also a donation of candies from Toys ‘R Us on Merivale.

We thank everyone for their generosity and for making our evening a great success.
