Smiles for Life

Want something to smile about? From 01 April, 2000 through to 31 May, 2000, dentists across the country are taking part in “Smiles for Life” a major fundraising effort for Children's Cancer facilities. In Ontario, Camp Trillium, a childhood cancer support centre, is our chosen charity. If you visit a participating dentist for a tooth whitening, you'll be asked to make your cheque out directly to Smiles for Life Camp Trillium. All proceeds benefit this children's cancer camp.

All residents of Carlington over the age of 17 are welcome to join the Association. A fee of $5 per year allows you to attend monthly meetings, join sub-committees, and to voice your concerns in matters pertaining to your community. If you wish to also have a vote, you can be nominated onto the Executive as one of eight directors, or as one of four senior positions: President, Vice-President, Secretary or Treasurer.

In the coming year as the cities of our region amalgamate, the Community Association will become even more important. We urge you to get involved and make a difference in Carlington.
