The Carlington Summit

St. Elizabeth students have again achieved recognition for excellence with their latest win for web design. A project on the Rideau Canal is the most recent winner, following last year's win for their site "Students Against Landmines".

This latest win included a cash prize of $3000, which teacher and mentor Dalia Naujokatis says will be used to upgrade computers and software. The participants used machines that for the most part were at least five years old, and because of a computer crash, did not learn of their win until the day after it was announced.
