This conference will provide a great opportunity for networking with professionals, caregivers, persons experiencing early Alzheimer disease, and those persons who can effect public policy. The panel discussions will examine the needs of caregivers and persons affected by dementia - their reality. Guest speakers will address how present research is affecting the caregiver experience and whether we are listening to their needs. With earlier diagnosis and the projected increase in the numbers of persons with dementia, this conference will also examine how to turn their reality into public policy.
